A video has emerged of an African teacher caning students for various mistakes. The school appears to be in remote area of East Africa and the headmaster heavily endorses this practice. One of the teachers featured in the footage gives a young boy a thorough thrashing. The number of strokes as shown in the video keep increasing and the teacher doesn’t seem to have any intent of stopping.
The students weep in Swahili, saying, “Mwalimu unaniumiza!” (You’re hurting me, teacher!”).

100 strokes on someone’s hands — that must hurt quite a lot? Despite the students pleading for sympathy, these ruthless men keep whipping them.
The head teacher is recorded saying that it is the ONLY way they can correct these young people. So sad.
