Actress Sarah Hassan Wins Big At The Kalasha Awards, Makes Fans Love Her More
Gorgeous actress Sarah Hassan and her Co-host Charles Jouda won an award for Best Hosts in a TV show at the Kalasha Film and TV Awards. They won for their TV talk show Discovery 254 which airs on NTV.
The ceremony went down at the KICC last night October 30 and was full of exciting and unexpected moments. Some of the biggest names from the entertainment fraternity attended the event.
The red carpet was graced with the likes of Edith Kimani, Gerald Langiri, Nice Githingi, Susan Wong, Ruth Maingi among others. Kalasha Awards are Kenya’s premiere film and television awards which are held annually.

Halloween Weekend: How Kenyans Are Celebrating
The Halloween fever has taken over the globe the past few days, with the likes of Canadian singer Drake dressing up as Rapper Kanye and the latter opting for a Comic Con character look. When it comes to Kenya, it is business as usual. With or without costumes Kenyans are partying for the weekend.
You’d probably expect the streets to be filled with ‘zombies’ – but no. The weekend atmosphere is the usual, except for the few brave souls who’ve struggled to do it right.
Halloween is celebrated on the night of October 31st on the eve of St. Patrick’s day. People – especially children – wear costumes and go door to door for free candy, in what’s known as trick-or-treat.
It seems Kenyans are not getting into the Halloween spirit for all the wrong reasons.

Kamene Goro, a top TV personality who is currently pursuing her academic studies has been noticeably missing from social media for the better part of the week. The reason being that she’s feeling unwell.
Earlier this week, she took to her IG to share a photo of an IV drip inserted in her hand, with the quote “Everything happens for a reason…..”
Fans responded to her caption with get-well messages and comments. She hasn’t been using social media much lately and only put up a post yesterday to explain why. The first thing she posted is “I Love Jesus.”

Too TRAGIC: Mwiki Woman Slaughters Her Two Children After Husband Left Her
Residents of Mwiki estate woke up to the shocking news of a 28-year-old mum who killed her two children after the husband left her.
Mary Nduta, 28, slit her children’s throats with a kitchen knife on Thursday night, before attempting suicide, Kasarani CID chief Valerian Obore said.
The children were identified as Yvonne Njeri, 8, and two-year-old Maxwell Waiganjo.
Nduta is under police guard at the Mama Lucy Hospital in Kayole.

Motorist Robbed In Broad Daylight Along Nairobi’s Southern Bypass (Raw Video)

Apparently, what these crooks do is to slow down in front of you or someone pretends to be hurt in the middle of the road, and when you also slow down, they attack.

Breaking: Car On Fire Spotted Along Thika Road
In a span of two days, several incident of cars on fire have been reported in different part of Nairobi. As Mpasho News reported recently, a Mercedes Benz was on fire along Forest Road. Eye witnesses said that the car just burst into flames, prompting police officers to come to the rescue.

“I think in the world of acting, someone that has been a mentor to me is Alfre Woodard. I met her on ‘12 Years a Slave’ and she’s been such a great support in just helping me figure out this public life and how to make decisions when I can about what projects to work on and stuff like that,” she said.
Since her breakthrough, she has met the who is who in Hollywood. From Brad Pitt to Vogue’s Anna Wintour, Lupita has made buddies with your dream meet-up celebrities.
On her engagement with the anti-poaching campaign with WildAid as global ambassador, she feels honored to be part of such a vital cause.
“It’s definitely a passion of mine and I’m looking forward to the work that I’m going to do with that organization. Other than that, I like to cook and spend time with my friends and watch movies and I love to dance,” Lupita added.

Bizzare: Woman In Eldoret Was Being Paid 8,000 Shillings To Wash Snakes, Feed Them And Give Them Porridge
A woman in Eldoret town got the shock of her life when she reported to a home to start a newly found job. The house help told the media that she had been employed to feed snakes and wash them. The lady by the name Nafula was taken to Eldoret police station to record a statement after the escape.
Her tribulations began when she was taken to her now estranged home by her neighbor from Trans Nzoia.

Aladwa In Trouble: Police Get Go Ahead To Charge Former Nairobi Mayor With Incitement
Former Nairobi Mayor George Aladwa came under fire after allegedly inciting people in Kibera last Tuesday during the Mashujaa Day celebrations. Aladwa was caught on camera saying that “ndio Raila akuwe president lazima watu kiasi wakufe,” which translates to “in order for Raila to be president, a few people must die.”
The high court has since given police officers the go ahead to charge him.

“They can bring him to court to take plea any time they deem fit,” Judge Joseph Onguto said earlier today. He however granted Aladwa the permission to file for termination of police charges against him. He has two weeks to make the application to the DPP.

Hilarious! KOT Viciously Attack ‘Bro Ocholla’ For Flirting On A WhatsApp Prayer Group
Well, we woke up to a very interesting morning today, with a screenshot from a certain Whatsapp prayer group that that has been making rounds on social media.
So the prayer group is called, Embakasi Prayercell and it’s those type of groups where church members form to talk about the word of God, encourage each other, share inspirational messages and pray for each other.
But one Ochieng Ocholla aka Bro Ocholla, forgot to double check when sending a flirtatious message to a certain lady on Whatsapp and of course, this does not look like his wife, which got other members of the group flabbergasted!

Finally! Popular City Pub 1824 Breaks The Silence Following The Gruesome Beating Of Two Students
Popular city Whisky Bar 1824’s management has finally broken the silence following the horrific beating of the two University of Nairobi students at their club over the weekend. The two students are said to have been beaten by 1824’s bouncers leaving them for dead but were later rescued and taken to St. Mary’s Hospital where one of them is said to be fighting for his life.

“Farming. It’s a business on its own. It’ll be my next stage in life since I do not plan to retire. I’ll be spending my time away from the busy city life – away from the noisy matatus and polluted air,” said Carol Radull. She is currently a top TV/Radio host, known for her show The Score on Classic 105 and Kiss FM. She is passionate about, tennis, Formula 1, rugby and all things sports but her love will always be football.
2. Jeff Mote
“I’ve been playing around with mixing cocktails. My end plan is to open a really cool whiskey bar,” the Kiss FM presenter said. The presenter was a guest celebrity judge at the recently concluded Concours D’Elegance which took place at the Ngong Racecourse. Jeff is currently hosting The Drive on Kiss FM alongside Chipukeezy and Linda Nyangweso.
