News about the thorough beating meted out on a protester by some anti-riot police officers in Nairobi on Monday afternoon, has been a trending topic on every social and mainstream media. The protester, who has since been identified as Boniface Manono has instantly become a celeb!
What happened to him on the fateful day was painful to the eyes and this elicited uproar from many quarters. A few hours after the brutal beating on Manono, some unsubstantiated reports started doing rounds that Manono had succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment in a local hospital.
