This Is Why A Relationship That’s Not Working Out Is Actually A Good Thing

A difficult relationship can make you feel all sorts of ways. It may make you feel like you’re being trampled on by the whole world …like you’re being pushed to oblivion. What’s worse, you’ll feel like your dreams are only wild, unachievable imaginations. That’s the hardest part in life.

There’s definitely another way to look at it. I’m not going to tell you what you’re already hearing: that the other person wasn’t meant for you.

For whatever reason the relationship isn’t working, be sure that you can turn the lowly situation into a life-changing moment.

I’ll tell you about a case I witnessed. A few years ago, my close friend Jeremy had this huge crush on a certain lady. She was really gorgeous, caring and humble. After they started dating, Jeremy let her down several times — he failed to keep in touch and didn’t give her the attention and affection as often as she wanted because he was engaged in developing his career.

At last, they decided to part ways; his heart was truly shattered. Instead of heeding to the impending downfall, he decided to work even harder. We used to meet at our favorite restaurant and talk over a bottle of ice-cold Coke and I’d advise him to keep on pushing. The thing about having a nice conversation while taking an ice-cold Coke is that you feel refreshed and you simply never want to stop talking. It’s just a chilled out thing to do.

Anyway, he went on to be a leading architect in the city. As you read this, he’s set up his own company that deals in architectural and construction consultancy. He’s actually happy to have pressed on; he says that if he would have let it get into his head or stuck with her, he wouldn’t be here.

So here’s the lesson you can get from this quick read: when you get into such a situation, don’t spend time trying to salvage what’s not going to work. Instead, forge ahead and move faster to making yourself a better person!
