Popular Nairobi Club Accused Of Allegedly Being ‘Racist’ – Kenyans Kicked Out And Denied Entry

There’ve been several cases of racism in most institutions in Kenya, and I’m afraid this won’t be the last one until something is done about it. Meanwhile, here’s what’s allegedly happened recently in Nairobi.

“Today I Faced My First Ever Form Of Racial Discrimination In Kenya At A Super Market”, Confesses Popular Radio Presenter

Nairobi’s ‘funkiest’ new joint, ‘The Alchemist’, has been accused of being racist. According to Dexter Findley, a mzungu who visited the bar with his with his Kenyan friends, the club’s bouncers refused to let Kenyans in as they only admitted white people and Indians.

According to Dexter, the bouncers were being very aggressive and even physical with blacks.

One colleague of mine was physically shoved when he approached the gate; he and couple of other friends were denied entry – until us white people in the group stepped forward and assured the bouncer we are all together.
