On Tuesday Kenya marked #MashujaaDay, to honor the brave Kenyans whom we consider as heroes for the various things they have done for the country. Kenyans took to social media to express their pride in being part of the celebrations.
Public figures also shared their messages of patriotism, including Citizen TV’s Julie Gichuru, Classic 105’s Carol Radull, CS Najib Balala and Governor Alfred Mutua. During his address to the nation, President Uhuru Kenyatta urged Kenyans to remain calm even with the ongoing cases at the ICC facing Deputy President William Ruto and journalist Joshua Sang.
Here are some of the Twitter posts by top Kenyan figures on social media.
