One of Kenya’s finest musicians, Size 8 recently lost her mother, barely 24 hours after giving birth. It was a very trying moment for her. Many local artistes, both gospel and secular, stood by her side as the sultry singer has had a rough year. Several months ago, she had a fundraiser to help her ailing mum.
Size 8 took to Instagram to thank God for being by her side during this difficult period. It was a heartfelt, deep message that also thanked her hubby Dj Mo and their daughter Ladasha Belle for keeping her going.

The “Mateke” singer is a true hard worker. During her pregnancy, she worked with Willy Paul on a song dubbed “Sijafika.” It was a successful project as the jam has gotten massive airplay both on radio and TV.
“Even in the midst of lost and pain God always gives you a reason to smile and people to love you. Love you @djmokenya and @ladashabelle you keep me going.”
