In Kenya, we do not have many male fashion bloggers. We are used to seeing females cropping up each and every day. Well, there’s a dude who’s shifting tectonic plates in the Kenyan fashion blogging landscape. It is none other than @thedapperbrother, the guy who recently won The Mimi Blogger contest, which was organized by Julie Gichuru’s fashion line MIMI.
Muriuki Kagiri AKA Kagz is not only a fashion blogger but also an upcoming artiste, who is part of the duo Christ Cycoz. He entered the MIMI Blogger contest and won a cool 100K.
Meet The Sexiest Fashion Blogger From Coastal Kenya
The contest went on for several weeks and saw six finalists push to win the grand prize. The first runners up was blogger Shawn Osimbo who walked away with 25K shillings.
The second runners up was Sharon K. Mwangi of Style By Shari, who walked away with 10K shillings. Muriuki was the only male contestant in the contest that saw hundreds of submissions.
