1. Willy Paul stole his songs
Earlier this year, Bahati cried foul after his controversial counterpart Willy Paul allegedly stole his unreleased songs. The case sparked a hot conversation on the conduct of the latter. It only showed how good he is in his work. They have since settled things out and are friends.
2. He was made brand ambassador by Safaricom
Bahati was named the Facebook ambassador for Safaricom this year. It elevated him to another level, especially now that he is a dad and needs to cater for his adopted kids. Not many Kenyan gospel celebrities landed such lucrative deals. This makes it the year of Bahati.
