2015 has been an incredible year. We made progress as a country but also faced a few challenges. We lost several influential people in our society, some of them leaders and others entertainers. They will truly be missed. Here are some of the Kenyans who passed away this year;
1. Fidel Odinga
The late Fidel passed away at the start of the year, January 4th. He died at home following what was said to be a case of food poisoning. Fidel was known for his flamboyant lifestyle and warm relations with friends and family. He left behind a beautiful wife Gatachew Bekele and son Allay Odinga.
2. Ahmed Darwesh
The late KTN Swahili news anchor passed away on December 14 at his home, having suffered from Diabetes for quite some time. He was buried the next day, December 15 in Mombasa. Various public figures – including NTV’s Larry Madowo and KTN’s Joy Biira – opened up about their relationship with him. He came across as a humble and compassionate man.
