When every one of Ne-Yo’s fan’s in Nairobi – including me – went and chilled out with the Grammy award nominee and R&B singer, there’s one guy who did not even try taking a selfie with him. Dj Space, one of the performing DJs on the show is the man in focus.
“It was just another day in the office for me while everyone was wandering around trying to take a picture with him. The girls were going crazy! I guess that makes me the only guy who never took a selfie with NE-YO,” he revealed.
Ne-Yo has worked with the likes of Rihanna, Pitbull, Juicy J, T.I. and Dimitri Vegas. That’s why girls were all excited when he was in town. Space says that he kept his focus all through. He admires the “Let Me Love You” singer’s impressive resume and achievements.

“From a music perspective, it was great working with NE-YO. I respect what he has achieved so far. No one can discredit his success as an R&B singer and most recently as a pop artiste. Plus, he is also a multi-award winning artiste – an achievement that is very admirable,” he told blogger Jennifer Ochieng in an interview.
Ne-Yo recorded a special song with Ice Prince (Nigeria), Wangechi (Kenya), Alikiba (Tanzania), Maurice Kirya (Uganda) and Dama Do Bling (Mozambique). You can watch it below:
