I regularly commute to and from work using matatus and therefore I get to experience first hand the nasty things that conductors do. Some of their actions leave a bad taste in the mouths of passengers. Most of these touts are arrogant, abusive, unfriendly and intimidating. What perplexes me is the fact that they choose to take out their bitterness and frustration with life on innocent passengers who have absolutely nothing to do with their choice of career.

Well, below are the six most annoying behaviors of matatu touts that piss off passengers and they should stop it
- Forcing people to board their matatus
When you walk to any bus stop, you will most likely encounter a group of dirty moguka-chewing riff raff shouting and even fighting for customers. They are rowdy in their quest to get passengers to board their matatus despite that choice being a personal one.
Please stop forcing people to board your vehicles. If your matatu is old, I’d rather wait for a nice one and even pay more just for my safety. Mmetuchosha!
