TIME FOR LEGENDS! After Papa Wemba And Koffi Olominde, This Is How Manu Dibango Rocked At Koroga Festival (PHOTO GALLERY)

In August 2014, the late Rhumba legend Papa Wemba (R.I.P) performed in Nairobi at the bi-monthly music extravaganza, Koroga Festival. He was simply electric! It’s sad that barely two years after his thrilling show in Kenya, we had to say goodbye to the Congolese maestro last week, after he collapsed and died in the middle of a performance in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Months after his Nairobi, other great African music legends have come forth to perform at the music event. Zimbabwe’s Oliver Mtukudzi, South Africa’s Yvonne Chakachaka, Senegal’s Baaba Maal and Wemba’s long-time protégé Koffi Olominde followed months later.
