The Honest But Painful Truth About Kenyan Socialites Lives

I recently spoke to a famous Kenyan socialite who decided to open up about her life.

During the one hour-long informal interview, the wealthy socialite talked about her long journey from her humble family’s home in Eastlands to dining with the world’s richest.

Enough of the sob stories everyone starts with. I’ll fast-forward to that moment when everything starts going south.

Most of them begin with expensive candlelit dinners and vacations to private beaches but end up in complete squalor. Don’t let the heavily filtered images and on social media fool you, socialites don’t fancy the life as they assume to live.

Although many will deny it, most of us, at least, have an idea of what socialites do for a living right? What you think about them might not be entirely accurate, but here’s the truth. Once that “rich old guy” has bought you an expensive house, car, and other luxuries, you’ll never have the freedom you’ve always had.

“Most of these girls once they get that rich guy, some of them end up getting involved with their duty businesses, and once that happens you’ve sold your soul.

“You start by losing friends since you can never trust them to keep a secret. Since most of them touch on very powerful individuals, they drop most of their friends and just like that; life becomes so lonely.”

Unfortunately, she decided to go off the record before she gave us the whole story. However, what she was trying to say is that people should stop bashing them based on what they see on social media since they also go through a lot. (You can read more on the post below)
