According to a report by the international organization, Medecins San Frontiers (MSF) – Doctors without Borders, these are some of the most dangerous areas in Nairobi City when it comes to sexual violence.
The most common types of sexual violence against women is rape and defilement of minors. Most female victims end up being abused using objects such as bottles and sticks in severe attacks.

The boy child is mostly sodomized by close relatives or friendly neighbors who do not raise suspicion if seen hanging around children.
The report said that in 2015, 2,421 victims reported being sexually abused after they were admitted at various MSF clinics for consultations and treatment.
