The Matatu culture is just unique in its own way. It describes the “real lifestyle” of a typical Kenyan, but when someone rushes to court to have all matatus look the same, it pisses me off. What will Kenyans identify themselves with? Spare us, priss!
The matatu culture has created a lot of employment opportunities for the youth, touts, drivers, managers and even artists who design these matatus. Their graffiti work speaks for itself.
