Four people were killed when the DoD perimeter wall collapsed on them, as they took shelter from heavy rain along Lenana Road in Nairobi.

The Kenya Red Cross Society said via Twitter that the road is among several affected. Others are Dennis Pritt, Bunyala, Commercial Street and Uhuru Highway.
In Nairobi on Thursday, motorists and commuters were stuck in traffic following heavy rains that rendered roads impassible.
Several roads including Kenyatta Avenue, and Ojijo Road in Westlands were flooded, forcing pedestrians to wade through the water to get to different parts of the city.
The meteorological department had warned of heavy rains from April to June. The department said Coast, Western, Central and Rift Valley regions would be affected.
