Kenyan US based Ken Odhiambo needs your help. The 38-year-old man is fighting for his life in the ICU at the John Peter Smith (JPS) hospital in Forthworth. Ken was stabbed 37 times in his house in Arlington, TX by a man believed to be his close friend.
According to sources, Ken was attacked on Thursday by a man (his friend) whom he has at one point helped and even offered shelter at his place. Ken’s sister Ann Obare, told Jambonewspot.com that the attack happened when Ken and a female friend were at his house. It is believed that the attack was well planned as the lady at some point called the attacker. The attacker then came over and started stabbing Ken as his female friend watched.
Eddy, Ken’s brother arrived at the house and when he tried to help him out, the attacker turned on him forcing him to run for his safety. After the attacker was done, he walked away giving Ken time to call the police who arrived on time. Although it is not clear what the attacker’s mission was, police have launched investigations into the matter.

The results released on Wednesday indicated that Edinald Nyainda, 22, died of excessive bleeding following the stabbing. She was allegedly killed by the 36-year-old ex naval officer Maxwell Ochieng, after she terminated their relationship. The postmortem was conducted by government pathologist Johansen Odour.
As reported by the Star, Edinald’s sister said she received a call from Maxwell Ochieng after he killed her.

Hii ni noma! Former President Daniel Arap Moi’s grandson was today taken to a Nakuru court for allegedly stealing two mobile phones worth Sh19,000. Collins Toroitich allegedly stole the smartphones on July 17 from his daughter May Chelimo and her friend Betty Chebet.
According to the Star, Toroitich’s lawyer Ochang’ Ajigo challenged the prosecution for failing to arraign the accused within the 48 hours prescribed by law.
“The accused was arrested on Monday during working hours and had not been charged until today. This is total infringement of the rights of my client,” Ochang’ told the court.
He said Toroitich had called his daughter, who is the first complainant, for lunch at a hotel in Nakuru where she went with her friend. The girl is a second year student at a local university. Ochang’ said the three were eating in a joyful mood when Toroitich took his daughter’s phone away so they could interact smoothly.
“After the meeting, none of them remembered their phones until after they alighted from a taxi. They left the phone in the taxi,” he said.
The lawyer said there were efforts to settle the matter at family level but that Chelimo insisted on going to court.
“Chelimo’s mother is a former friend of the accused and seems to be bitter. He (Collins) was ready to pay for the lost phones,” he said.
Toroitich appeared before chief magistrate David Kemei and took plea in the chambers following a request by the defense counsel. He was released on a cash bail of Sh7,000. The matter will be heard on August 15. Ochang’ said Toroitich is the son of Jonathan Moi.
Days are gone when children were frightened anytime the word parent was uttered. I remembergrowing up at a time where discipline was the order of the day, thanks to our strict parents. ‘As I sit here lying in my final resting place, I hear my friends laughing and singing songs that have no tunes. My relatives are still mourning their loss. “He died a premature death, just when he was at his prime”, That is what everyone said during my eulogy. I gnashed my cold teeth and cringed in anger, reason, THEY KILLED ME! My people killed me. Let me tell you about my childhood.
I was born in a family of three children and was the first born. My parents were both career people and worked hard in order to give us better lives. At least that is what they said. At an early age, we were left in the humble hands of our house help. My mother always left the house before dawn and came back after dusk. Reason, apart from being a career woman, she was a student. Oooh yes, she was pursuing her masters and after that she went for her PHD and after that she enrolled for something else. I just can’t remember all her titles. All I remember is that after work she would go to class and come when we were either dozing off or already asleep. I am a talented artist but trust me, as I lay here today, none of my relatives has an idea that I can draw, of course except for our then house help who always scolded me for drawing on the walls in our house.
I remember she one day pinched me after I repeatedly drew on the wall using charcoal even after she asked me not to. When my mother came back that evening, I told on her and my mother almost slapped her. “Never ever lay your hands on my children. Report them to me for punishing anytime they go astray. I will punish them myself” She shouted. What she did not know was that she always came back after we were asleep and there was no way she was going to wake us up for punishment, nooo not her us, not her heartbeats as she referred to us. Our house help did not even stay long after that because she one day scolded my brother for spanking her.
That day my mother went berserk! She posted on social media how our house help had scolded my brother for spanking her and yet she was the one who was moping the house while bending on my brother’s path and because my brother was short, the only place he could reach to get her attention was her behind which he spanked. My mother’s ‘army’ on social media was up in arms advising my mother to fire our good house help. “Fire her! Fire her! No one lays a finger on my children in my house! The children are the reason I pay her!” Such are the comments that my mother received. She did not think twice, that evening, she came back and fired Lucy. As if that was no enough, she splashed her photos on social media claiming she was a child barterer and anyone should employ her at their own risk. After Lucy, came Jane, then Irene, then Grace, then another Lucy, at some point we were even checked in at a daycare!

As her daughter whimpered in the corner after a four minute beating, Shanavia Miller took over her daughters Facebook account. She first held the camera, fixed her hair and spoke to the people watching on the teens Facebook page.

28-year-old Felista Wachira allegedly penetrated the genital organs of the minor using her fingers. Ooh gosh! She is accused of committing the offence between May 1 and July 10 at Imara Daima estate in Nairobi. The househelp also faces an alternative charge of indecently touching the minor without her consent.
Prosecution said the complainant’s mother, Michelle Nyaboke, noticed her daughter had become quiet and was behaving negatively towards Felista. The girl also started crying whenever Nyaboke left for work and it disturbed her.
Michelle tried to talk to her daughter in Felista’s absence and the girl confessed to being sexually assaulted by the househelp at night. She said Wachira used to insert her fingers into her private parts and she felt a lot of pain.
The minor added that the househelp asked her not to tell anyone, as it was a good thing to do to her. Police said Wachira shared a bedroom with the minor. The accused used to carry the girl to her bed and then assault her. This happened until the night the minor cried aloud and went to her mother’s room.
When taken to hospital, a doctor confirmed that the girl had been sexually assaulted. Felista was released on a surety bond of Sh300,000, waiting for the case to be heard on August 19.
