When you hear of the name Embassava what comes to your mind is untidiness, rudeness, horrible experiences and stripping of women. Embassava Sacco matatus shot into the limelight back in 2014 when part of its crew were captured on camera stripping a city woman. The Sacco then suffer a huge blow as no one wanted to be associated with them including passengers who snubbed them in fear of being stripped.

The heinous act was condemned by many and demonstrations dubbed “My Dress My Choice” were held in protest. Since then, Embassava Matatus seem to have refrained from such acts and they are slowly trying to win the hearts of Nairobi residents. Could they be copying Ongata Rongai Sacco?
