Most of us have by now come across the video where a white pilot is seen assaulting a police woman in Nyandarua. The clip that has since gone viral has attracted the attention of the public and the Inspector General of police.
The company under which the pilot, Alistair Llewely, had been working has since terminated his contract. He had been hired to fly DP William Ruto for a church event when the incident occurred.
His victim, police corporal Mercy Wandera has since recorded a statement at Engineer police station in Kinangop.

This came hours after the inspector general, in a statement, directed that the pilot surrenders to the nearest police station. The pilot has since complied and reported to the Kilimani police station.
The corporal who is attached at Haraka police station has recorded a statement over the incident and investigations are going on
Speaking on phone, Kinangop OCPD Yawa Chome confirmed that the junior officer had recorded a statement over the incident. The man who recorded the footage, Michael Munene, also recorded a statement with the police.
