At least three JKUAT students are feared dead and several others wounded after a bus they were travelling in overturned in Karen area, Nairobi. The students were involved in their union campaigns and had hired several matatus plying the Ongata Rongai route when one of them (Ballistic aka Nuclear Power) overturned.
Police say the number of the deceased may increase and that many others are in critical condition in hospital. The incident has caused panic amongst parents who have rushed to the scene to know the fate of their children. The driver of the matatu is said to have allegedly been drunk and was overspeeding.
