It’s so sad every time we receive news that people have passed away following a road accident, but it looks like it’s not going end anytime soon.

Yet another road carnage occurred along the busy Naivasha-Nakuru Highway, where four people died while nine others were injured when a bus collided head-on with an oncoming matatu on Tuesday evening.
Some of those who were injured in the crash were taken to the nearby St Mary’s Hospital in Mbaruk while others were taken to Nakuru Level 5 hospital for treatment.
The grisly road accident occurred at a location which is said to be a black spot, involved a Dayha bus heading to Nairobi and a North Rift matatu bound for Eldoret.

According to Gilgil OCPD Serah Koki, three people died at the scene while the driver of the matatu that had 11 passengers succumbed to injuries while being treated.
The driver of bus apparently fled after the accident but Koki said police are searching for him.
