Nairobi region and its environs experienced heavy rains yesterday creating chaos especially along the major roads. Waiyaki way was one of the most affected, as a tree fell on a 14 seater matatu belonging to Prestige Shuttle Sacco, which was ferrying passengers near Kangemi market.

Scores were injured in the accident but it’s not clear if anyone lost their life. The heavy rains caused traffic snarl up in the city and motorists have been urged to be more cautious on the roads during the rainy season.
