Three lives were cut short in fatal accidents that occurred on the Thika SuperHighway over the weekend. One of the accidents which involved a taxi and a private motorist who was believed to be drunk driving left one dead (taxi man) while the other driver survived.
The private motorist is said to have rammed into the taxi as he was trying to escape NTSA Officials who had placed several roadblocks along the Superhighway.
In another accident along the same highway, two people succumbed to injuries after their car got into a head-on collision with another vehicle after the driver (the late) made a u-turn along the busy highway. Both the victims were trying to evade alcoblow.
Many have lost their lives due to drunk driving and others killed innocent people but it seems Kenyans never learn . They still go out, drink and drive.
