Kenyans are still in shock after news went viral that over 100 teens were arrested by the police today afternoon at a house party in Lang’ata. The teens aged 18-20, are said to have been celebrating one of their friends “academic achievements”.

According to a neighbour who was at the police station, “Project X has been all over the news so it is like someone alerted the police, then there was a swoop in the house. The police acted swiftly considering the fears that have been there.”
He continued, “I wouldn’t accuse the police of having acted too harshly.”
Another concerned neighbour added, “A friend informed me that my neighbourhood was in the news for some wrong reason. They said it was this whole thing called Project X, I don’t think it is so, because they did not find any orgies happening in the house, just a crazy party with loud music, drinking and smoking.”
Some of the teens tried escaping the police drag net by jumping over an electric fence but the police caught up with them.
