It seems the beleaguered Tom Mshindi is having a bad time of it all. A few weeks back, he, together with the rest of the NMG top-tier, saw fit to fire one Denis Galava, and since then, they have known no peace.
From leaked emails to this. President Uhuru Kenyatta saw fit to relieve him of his duties at the helm of the Kenya Copyrights Board, a position he held for little under a minute.
After being appointed by the Attorney General Githu Muigai to chair the board, the president has dismissed him from the position, appointing someone else in his stead.
Millicent Ogutu steps in to replace him as the new chair of the board in a raft of appointments made by the President on Friday. Here is part of the dismissal notice on the Kenyan Gazette:
“Uhuru Kenyatta Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, appoints MILLICENT OGUTU to be a member and Chairperson of the Kenya Copyright Board effective from the 18th March, 2016 and revoke the appointment of Tom Mshindi as Chairperson,”
