Signs and Symptoms Of The Kenyan Mr. Right

If he only texts you when he wants you to ‘come over’, only comes to visit you with just condoms, spends his day at the ‘base’ saying he is looking for a job and still gets pocket money from his parents. Forget him.

He is Mr. Never Ever and today we are talking about Mr. Right. The Kenyan Mr. Right specifically and how to single him out from the large crowd of wannabes.

He Is Old, 33 and Above.

He is a no pants sagging, snap-back wearing boy. He is grown folk; mature. His turn up days are behind him and his focus is on investments and growing his brand. You won’t find him sited at the base, hanging with his boys checking out estate hotties. While there are younger guys who might also be ambitious, the problem is that they are too susceptible to distractions and all sorts of temptations.

He Is Fit.

Fine Man

He knows the importance of taking care of himself and while he enjoys the occasional nyama choma, he goes to the gym three days a week. He knows it’s important to keep fit. Added benefits? He can lift you up…

He is a Gentleman.

He believes in taking care of his woman. Not because the woman can’t take care of herself but because he can. He is the guy who gives you the seat in the matatu or opens the door for you at the office. The guy who lets you get into the elevator first and lets you leave first. He is cultured.

He Reads.

Hehe, I know. Kenyan men don’t read. There is however a group of very few who do. Should you find one of these, pin him down and don’t let him go because there is nothing as sexy as a man who reads. Mr. Right has a great command of the English language, a wild imagination all because he reads. By reading, I mean books not just a free newspaper.

So there you have it. Are you Mr. Right? Call me, maybe?
