Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has decided to put an end to the largely publicized Sonko Rescue team. He said that he would like to join hands with Govenor Evans Kidero to improve the lives of Nairobians. Sonko announced the decision at his father Gideon Kivanguli’s burial in Machakos County earlier today.
In the past, the two have publicly exchanged words over certain issues, some of them being accusations. Sonko had asked Kenyans to pray for his ailing dad, but later announced that he had succumbed to the illness and passed on because “God loved him more.”
The Sonko team has done various projects around Nairobi county, including providing water for residents, ambulance services and wedding limousines.
