‘Give Me Another Chance To Live,’ Cries Out 13 Year Old Kenya Boy

Cancer is one of the most dangerous and feared diseases around. Cancer continues to claim more and more lives even in this day and age. Many people are dying due to cancer and cancer-related complications every year and in third world countries, its a disaster.

We are losing our future leaders due to this epidemic. We have seen the likes of Carol Radull and Maina Kageni in conjuction with Eddah’s Hope Centre try to help cancer victims and survivors around. Cancer patients still face many challenges like lack of enough chemotherapy machines, but we hope the government is going to do something to save our loved ones from dying.

Well, I just came across this sad story of a 13 year-old boy, George Kiarie who has been diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer). Kiarie, a standard 7 pupil at Kenol Preparatory from Muranga County is appealing to well wishers to help him raise Sh 6million to travel to India for treatment. The story has gone viral we can only hope Kenyans will step forward to help George Kiarie.
