I have said this before and I will say it again here. Being a parent is something awesome! Yes it is. However, being a responsible parent takes a bit more than providing for your tot. When you take matters to do with your child(ren) on your own hands, you are not just guaranteed of happiness but also an incredible and unequalled sense of belonging.
There is something about new parent(s) though. The moment they lay their hands on their bundle of blessings, many things change. Although different people handle the news of the new arrival differently, we have those who are always over excited by the new developments in their life. We have those who prefer to keep family matters as private as they could, and we have the lot which prefer to say it on the mountain for all to hear (and see).
Last October, gorgeous Citizen TV news anchor Janet Mbugua and his hubby Eddie Ndichu were more than excited with the arrival of their first-born son Ethan Huru. Many of us (including myself) got to know the news through Janet’s updates on her social media accounts. A few moments after the delivery it’s been like a marathon on her social media sites, as she’s been posting baby Huru’s progress at almost every stage of his young life.
