News going round is that former minister Njenga Karume’s grandson has been arrested over drug trafficking. Sources indicate thatJames Njenga Kihato was arrested together with Joseph Mutua Kimeu and Lawrence Muketo Ngula in his house in Lavington’s area Nairobi by Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) detectives.
James and his counterparts were found in possession of sachets of cocaine and high-grade marijuana. He has also been accussed of importing narcotics such as Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) which are addictive and popular among the youth. They will be arraigned in court on Thursday this week.
