Recent Graduates — Avoid Tarmacking For Jobs By Applying For This Government Opportunity

In this Nairobi and Kenya today, tarmacking became like a second job for millions. You will rarely get an open door waiting for you to go in, especially in the world of graduate level jobs, when you have zero experience.

I have news for graduates with a degree in ICT. Someone wants to hold your hand, walk with you, and get you a bargaining chance. Guess who? the government!

They are offering some 400 slots to ICT grads to get training in the Presidential Digital Talent Programme.

The good news is that this year, they will take four times of the numbers admitted to the programme last year when they trained only 100 ICT graduates.
With government, chances of getting a job after this training and internship are quite good because it will open for you opportunities to work within the government, and the private sector too.

Here is some little homework for you. Help me tell a friend, and a friend’s friend to get online and apply for this chance!

Since all applications will be online, memorise this portal address www.digitalent.go.ke.

The application process will definitely close next week 14th March 2016.
For further enquiries, one can email Phyllis Nyambura on: pnyambura@ict.go.ke
