Kenyans give way too much attention to petty matters. For the past two weeks, flyers of a party dubbed “Project X” have been doing rounds on social media for all the wrong reasons. Apparently it was supposed to be a sex party where everyone was not expected to leave a virgin. The event’s poster raised a lot of eyebrows more so from staunch Kenyan moralists who even tagged it “Karamu Ya Ngono”.
“No One Goes Back Home A Virgin”, Police Stop The Infamous “Project X” Event
The funny thing is, there’ve been so many parties like these that take place in Nairobi and go entirely unnoticed. We’ve seen photos and videos online of even crazier house parties and events that left many shocked. Masaku 7s is a good example.
What I’m trying to say is, these things have been happening, and Kenyans should stop acting like it’s unusual. Sadly, the event became a serious topic of discussion and was even picked up by the international media. Imagine, what could happen if we all spoke out against things like corruption which is a fast growing cancer that is destroying our country.
Check out the video below of just one of the many explicit events that take place in this city.
