Maombi Muhimu! Meet The Embassava Conductor Who Prays For His Passengers Every Morning Before Starting A Journey (VIDEO)

When you hear about matatu crews what comes on your mind is that they are dirty, rogue, unkind, inhumane and abusive creatures. They rarely make headlines for the good reasons. However, one conductor/tout or in simple terms “makanga”  by the name Duncan from one of the most notorious matatu routes, Embassava Sacco, has come out disapprove this notion.

Forget The Horrible Experiences You Go Through Daily, This Matatu Crew Will Leave You Shedding Tears Of Joy

A video of Duncan praying for his passengers has left many mesmerised. Apparently, Duncan always prays for his passengers every morning (the first trip) before the journey commences. Duncan starts by introducing himself and goes ahead to thank God for bringing him this far. The humble and soft-spoken man claims that he is saved and God’s grace and mercies is what keeps him going. The video has gone viral and Kenyans have praised Duncan calling upon his counterparts to emulate him.

What would Nairobi be like if all matatu crews were like Duncan?

Embassava Sacco is one of the most hated matatu saccos around after the stripping incident last year. This saw human rights activists and top celebrities launch “My Dress My Choice” initiative to protect women from these idle beings who hang around town waiting to strip women. Ever since then, Embassava has been put on the spotlight but Duncan’s actions might win them back their customers.
